Shopify accessibility

Run a Shopify WCAG audit in minutes, not weeks.

A full WCAG audit — the kind an accessibility consultant delivers as a PDF — usually takes days of manual testing and costs several hundred dollars. Before you commission one, it helps to know what an automated pass already turns up: broken labels, missing alt text, low-contrast text, and other detectable issues that a real browser scan can find in under a minute.

Scan my store

What this scan covers

We load your public storefront in a real Chromium browser and run axe-core — the same open-source rule engine used in many professional audits — against WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 A and AA rules. Every finding ships with the failing element, its CSS selector, the WCAG rule it violates, and a Shopify-specific fix direction (which theme file or setting to change).

What it doesn't cover

Automated testing cannot verify everything a WCAG audit requires: screen-reader announcements, logical focus order, whether alt text is actually meaningful in context, or captions on video. Every report — free or paid — includes a manual-checks list so you know exactly what still needs a human pass.

Free scan vs. the $29 report

The free scan checks one public page and shows your three highest-priority findings — no signup, no credit card. The $29 one-time report scans up to five representative page types (home, collection, product, cart, and a content page), lists every automatically detected issue with evidence, and includes one free re-scan within 30 days.
